Crete, Greece July 2003

Can you imagine me and Aunty Dot riding bicycles, sun-bathing topless and wearing skimpy bikinis? Well neither could we but we did! And it was liberating! Apart from the disgusting Greek plumbing system, Crete was amazingly relaxing. It helped that we were in a family resort and not a Faliraki-type one although we did spend a day in Malia. A few things come to mind in Malia, mainly "Club 18 - 30" and "Brits abroad behaving badly". Avoid Malia at all costs unless you like that sort of thing. The Mediterranean sea was gorgeous. Highly recommended.
